Be your own definition of amazing, always.
As we are approaching the end of the year many of us are reflecting on the choices that we have made in 2018, and maybe even the choices we want to make in 2019. So with that being said, something that I think goes well with reflecting is having a journal to look back on, or even to keep you on track with the goals that you have or will be creating for yourself. I was given a special journal on my birthday, and I just really wanted to share it with you all, because it has honestly been an eye opening experience. The questions that it asks you are very personal, but I have been sharing some of them with you all lately. The one that I would like to share with you all today is, “What would my version of having an amazing life look like for me.” Once I put this list on paper I realized that my dream life is actually very achievable, and although I am a simple minded person, your amazing life may not be as far away as you thought.
My Amazing Life
In my amazing life I would be debt free, and by debt free I mean all of my credit cards would be paid off. The only debt I am willing to be in is on my mortgage. (I am currently $3,000 of debt, therefore, if I follow the Dave Ramsey Plan, then I should be out of debt within a year or two.)
I would go on vacation two times a year. Once with my husband and once with my family. (This will be achievable once I am out of debt.)
I would run my own small online business and sell organic made products and T-shirts. (My plan is to have $1000 saved before I start my business. Hopefully I can do this within three to four years.)
I want to give 20% of my business to the Anti-Human Trafficking Association.
I want to have an Associates Degree in Marketing. (I’m already planning on starting back school in the Spring Semester, and I should graduate by 2020, if it’s God’s will for my life.)
I want to start a successful small group with Church of The Highlands.(I’m actually working on that right now with someone, and hopefully it will happen in the Spring Semester.)
I would love to coach and mentor other women through my blog, and help them grow into strong, beautiful independent, and ambitious women, or more so help them to see that they already are.
I want to start a Paleo Diet, and stick to it. ( This can happen, but I gotta make it happen.)
After writing these aspirations down on paper I began to see what my life could really look like, if I have a goal and I work hard to make these these things happen. My challenge to you is to write as many things that you would like to see happen in your life in 2019, and discover for yourself that anything is possible. Actually why wait until 2019 when you can create the life you were meant for now. If you would like to purchase this journal I will leave the link below. It has great writing prompts, and quotes throughout the journal. This is your story. What’s it going to be?

Can you remember who you where, before the world told you who you should be.
I remember exactly who I was, before the world told me who I should be. I had a dream, and I still do have a dream, and that dream has always been to become a writer. We all have a dream, but sometimes life can get in the way of who we where meant to be. Depression can be caused by different factors, and for me it was losing my identity, and knowing who I am. It seems as though the older I became the more I would lose a part of me that I used to love. First it was my parents who always told me that my dreams where a little too unrealistic. Then it was falling in love and allowing the love I had for my soulmate to cloud who I wanted to be, and then it was becoming a mother and the feelings of guilt for having a desire to do anything besides being a, “perfect mom,” would consume me. So I found myself lost, in pain, and unmotivated to do any of the things that I used to enjoy doing, including writing. Then one day I was sick of it. I was tired of laying in bed for hours when I woke up in the morning. I was tired of the long nights of restless sleep. I was tired of feeling worthless, and unmotivated. I missed being ambitious and having goals and dreams. And that’s when God stepped in. And I’m sorry, I know I am bringing God into this, but what He did for me changed my life. He helped me rediscover my purpose, and brought me back to life.
1. Waking Up
To shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide their feet into the way of peace.
In my experience of being depressed I was alive, but I wasn’t really living. I would wake up and think to myself, “What’s the point of getting up, when nothing is going to change.” Where I used to wake up, and think, “Today something good is going to happen.” I had began to lose hope in life. I didn’t see a reason to truly live. I would have days where I was in so much pain and I couldn’t seem to stop crying. I didn’t know why, but this deep sadness and shadow of darkness seemed to follow me. After about a year of this I decided enough is enough. I tried the pills, and they didn’t work. I tried exercise and wellness and they seemed to help a little bit, but still there was a void in my heart that couldn’t be filled. So I cried out to God, and when I say cried out to God I was literally hands covering my face sobbing, and asking God to show me how to get through this. I didn’t ask Him to take it away, because I know that sometimes God is trying to work through us during difficult times, and so I just prayed for His peace, and that I would feel His presence with me. That’s when I woke up. I found a devotional on depression, and the very day I began to read it I felt an overwhelming peace come over me. A verse came to my mind, and I was reminded that I didn’t have to go through this alone. I was choosing to. So in that moment, I cast my burdens on Jesus, and he began to carry the weight for me. Ref. ( 1 Peter 5:7) Click here to go through this devotional, and Ps. It’s free! https://my.bible.com/reading-plans/3140-breaking-free-from-depression
2. Emotions Are Real
One thing that I realized while I was going through this devotional is that my emotions are real. Negative or happy they all mean something. People may tell you that your emotions are lying to you, and you may have convinced yourself that, but let me just tell you that they are not. It’s perfectly okay to not be okay. If someone is making you feel guilty for going through these emotions, then they are the wrong for that. Even Jesus knew what it was like to carry negative emotions. Read John 11:4-7 for references. The problem is that most of the time I didn’t know how to handle my negative emotions. Negative emotions are not meant to put a label on us, but rather to warn us of an underlining issue. I was often times fixed on that one emotion rather then seeing it as a signal that something deeper was going on beneath. Why was I feeling sad and unmotivated? Asking myself these questions caused me to evaluate my emotions on a deeper level, and it helped me to discover the whys. I felt sad and unmotivated, because of insecurities that I was dealing with and because of the changes that I was experiencing. For example I lost a lot of friends because of my insecurities of losing Stephen. I felt like if I didn’t stay with him all the time that he would forget about me or stop loving me, when in reality the people that I had relationships with before him, and the life I had outside of him where one of the reasons that he fell in love with me, but I was too insecure to see that. So because of that it led to sadness and feelings of guilt and loss, because I truly do miss the people who used to be a big part of my life. I wouldn’t have realized that though, if I had not questioned why I was experiencing these negative emotions. So don’t ever stop with,” I’m feeling this, so this must be my destiny.” It’s not. There’s something more underneath the surface you just have to keep digging, and eventually the bigger problems will come to light.
3. Your Dreams Have Purpose
Have you ever had something that you have always wanted to do, but you felt like it was not realistic? Well did you know that those are just feelings of doubt and insecurities, and even fear that are holding you back? Think about it. For example, say you have a dream of being an artist, and you know that you have talent, and yet you still laugh when you even think about pursuing it as a career. I bet a memory comes to mind, where you painted or drew something, and someone that you loved made fun of it. In your eyes it was a masterpiece, but they just did not get the picture. So that plants a seed of doubt in your mind. And you think, “Maybe I was never meant to be an artist at all?” I think that deep down in your heart you know that you were meant to be one, but you just can’t seem to get past the voice of that person laughing at you. I can tell you this. It is not a common thing to have a creative mind in Gadsden, AL. Most people would pursue something more realistic. Like being a nurse for example. But that is not what drives me. That’s not what get’s me up in the morning, and although being a nurse is a great profession it is not what God has called me to do. Each person is unique, and one of the best ways to get out of a depressed mindset is to pursue the dream that God has put on your heart. And for me it’s writing, and wellness. Don’t allow the feelings of doubt, fear, and insecurity get in the way of being who you where meant to be. It’s in your heart for a reason, and it’s time to take action. God sees you as His masterpiece open up your eyes, and see it too! (Jer. 29:11)
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and I know that full well.
I really hope that you all enjoyed this post. I know it is a deep topic, but I want to be real with you all and the things that I am currently going through. If you are going through depression or experiencing any kind of brokenness, please shoot me an email, so that I can pray for you. I would greatly appreciate this being shared, or if anyone wants to leave a comment in the box below. When I think about why I got started using essential oils a quote from Platinum Distributor Sarah Harnisch comes to mind, “It’s empowering to see people get healthy. It’s a calling, not an occupation. If they say they can’t afford health, they will pay for it in other areas. Chemical use has a price on it, and that price is high. It’s about creating an awareness so they start to take steps to swap chemicals out.” That is the most important reason why I share Young Living with other people. If I can help someone to live a healthier lifestyle than I will, because God wants us to take care of the body that He has given us. If we have the option to choose better, then why aren’t we doing it? I am going to share three things
you probably don’t know about essential oils, and I am also going to be sharing three excuses people tend to make when saying no to using them.
1. What are essential oils?
All of the information I am sharing with you is coming from the Gameplan book, written by Sarah Harnisch. She is a certified aromatherapist, and highly qualified
in using essential oils, so let’s get into the facts.
Essential oils are the most powerful part of the plant. They are distilled from shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes, fruit, rinds, resins, and herbs. Oils consist of over 100 different naturals, organic compounds. In humans, they provide support for every system of the body: your skeletal system, your muscular system, circulatory system, endocrine system, and your hormones. They support brain health and a healthy weight. They are used extensively for emotions and for spiritual support. An oil diffuser can soothe a child’s tough day at school and provide a calming effect when you’ve had a stressful day at work. Have I educated you enough on this topic
? It honestly could take hours, but I don’t want to bore you to death. I just want you to understand the full capacity that oils can have.
2. Oils can provide an alternative to using chemical cleaning products in your home.
Did you know that you are actually spending more on your chemical filled cleaning products from the grocery store?
Let me demonstrate.
Not only is Thieves cleaner nontoxic and cost-effective, it also serves as a multi-purpose cleaner. It can be used for almost anything. Not to mention it smells amazing!
3. Some Interesting Facts About Young Living Essential Oils
I just found this really interesting and wanted to share it with you all!
60 thousand rose blossoms provide only 1 ounce of rose oil
Lavender is abundant – 220 pounds will provide 7 pounds of oil.
Jasmine flowers must be picked by hand before the sun becomes hot on the very first day they open, thus making it one of the most expensive oils in the world! It takes 8 million hand-picked blossoms to produce 2.2 pounds of oil.
A Sandalwood tree must be 30 years old and 30 feet high before it can be cut down for distillation.
Who knew that it took that much effort to create an essential oil? I know I didn’t until I read this book!
Three Excuses People Have Made About Investing in Essential Oils
1. They’re too expensive
The real question is how much are you willing to pay for your health? According to huffingtonpost.com On average, the typical American spends $42 a month on chemical products. Why not cut the costs, and invest in your health? Most oils range from $10-$60 and they typically come in a 5ml bottle that will last you for about three months, so that is $20 a month for your health. I can promise you it is worth it!
2. It’s inconvenient to order online
I know it can seem frustrating to order online, but the way they do it. It’s simple and effective. It takes me one week to get my monthly order in, and it is so much fun! It feels like Christmas every time for my order to comes in! So go ahead and throw out that excuse!
3. I don’t even know where to start

Just comment below if you are interested, and I will get you set up! It doesn’t take an expert to use oils. All it takes is a desire to learn, and finding passion in using them!

I love the Frankincense Essential Oils. This oil is not guaranteed to help with depression, but for me personally it has. I have dealt with Postpartum Depression since I have had my baby, and this is one of the oils that I love to diffuse, because it helps me to stay in the present instead of being focused on the negative.
Definition – Also known as “olibanum,” the name frankincense is derived from the Medieval French word for “real incense.” Frankincense is considered the “holy anointing oil” in the Middle East and has been used in religious ceremonies for thousands of years. It was well known during the time of Christ for its anointing and healing powers and was one of the gifts given to Christ at His birth. “Used to treat every conceivable ill known to man,” frankincense was valued more than gold during ancient times, and only those with great wealth and abundance possessed it. It is mentioned in one the oldest known medical records, Ebers Papyrus (dating from the 16th century BC), an ancient Egyptian list of 877 prescriptions and recipes.
Medical Properties: Antitumoral, immuno-stimulant, anti-depressant, muscle relaxing

For those of you who are wondering what essential oils are, they are often called the ,”life blood,” of the plant. The oils are concentrated, aromatic liquids steam-distilled from the seeds, bark leaves, stems, roots, flowers, or fruit. They support a plant’s internal structures. When properly cultivated and distilled, Essential Oils can support a healthy lifestyle. Today I am going to share with you four reasons why I have decided to start this journey. I will talk about what it was like when I first heard about it, how it affected me, and what I plan to do with it.
When I first heard about Young Living…
The first time I heard about Young Living Essential Oils was from someone I knew that had mentioned looking into it, and at first I was skeptical. I had began to receive various messages from Young Living distributors and advocates, and honestly that made even more skeptical, because this had happened to me before, where someone was trying to sell something to me, and it was basically a scam, so I kept coming up with excuses, and that was when someone else I knew convinced me that it was a legit company.
How did I know it wasn’t a scam?
Well after talking to people that I knew personally, and doing some research on my own I found out for myself that this was something I would really enjoy sharing with other people. The girl that I talked to was like me, and was a stay at home mom with two little ones, and after telling me about it, and giving me a little booklet to read on Young Living I was ready to start.
Why did I decide to join?
The Major Health Benefits Are Great!
After the major research I had done I realized the amazing health benefits for me and my family. Even I didn’t make a profit off of it I knew it was something that could be really beneficial for my family and I. For example one of the oils that comes in the premium starter kit is called, “Stress Away,” a combination of Lime and Vanilla. Not only is the scent amazing, but add two drops of that along with two drops of Lavender Essential Oil in my bath, and you have one happy mama. As a mom I tend to stress about a lot of things, so for me this was a gift from heaven itself.
The Company Is Genuine
I love sharing the products with others, because I know that I am being genuine with their products. Their products are authentic, and 100% pure Grade A oils. I also love sharing them with others, because they have worked so great for me that I know that I am not just trying to sell someone a product that I wouldn’t even use myself.
What do I get out of it?
I am so glad you asked that, because I am just going to be straight up with you.
I will get out of it whatever I put into it.. which includes: time, effort, and sometimes money.
I can be my own boss and set my own hours.
Who doesn’t dream of being their own boss and setting their own hours? And I can promise you it doesn’t mean being lazy. You still have to put in the work. I still get up pretty early and get off around five, but I do have the weekends off, and I love what I do, plus I don’t have anyone that getting onto me for silly things. It’s pretty simple, and easy to follow.
I learn new things all the time!
I am kind of a nerd, and I love that this company gives me the chance to expand and broaden my horizons. I love learning about natural medicines, and there is always something new to learn it seems like everyday.
Again the health benefits are amazing!
I have the opportunity to be healthier and stronger by using Essential Oils. I am getting rid of toxins and chemicals throughout my home and replacing it with everything natural and healthy.
Discounts and Free Stuff
Even if I have a week, or month where I don’t sell anything I still get to be apart of the Essential rewards, which offers up to 24% off wholesale products, and they have special deals every month, freebies and more!
That’s all that I have to share with you all today! I hope this has helped you to better understand what Essential Oils are, and how they have benefited me personally. If you are interested and want to know more, please let me know! I will give you my referral code, and don’t forget until May 25th you will get 10% off of the premium starter kit, and I can help you start this journey and grow to your full potential. Rise and shine! I hope everyone is looking forward to this weekend! You know that feeling in the morning, when you wake up, and you just know it’s going to be a good day. It’s a fresh start, a new beginning. One of the most essential starts to a great day for me is having a good breakfast. I really enjoy breakfast, but most days I don’t have the time to go all out as much as I would like to, however on the weekends I try to take the time to enjoy it, and do a little bit more than the usual Greek Yogurt on the go. If you like having breakfast in the mornings, and want healthier options, then this is a perfect recipe for you!

Hey everyone, today’s topic is going to be very personal for me, but I want to be honest with any expecting moms, moms going through postpartum, or anyone who just wants to know what it’s like to be a mom. There are a few things that I have gone through as a young mom that has been really hard, and scary. I want to share this with you all because I feel like It’s something that you may go through, and maybe it’s something you are already going through.
The comparison has been my hugest struggle as a young mom because most of the friends that I have or had are friends who don’t have children, so they have no idea what my life is like, but I am constantly reminded of the life I once had. Most of the time I am perfectly happy with my new life, but once in a while, I will catch myself feeling envious of being able to just go out whenever I would like. Sometimes I would feel left out when I would see pictures of my friends hanging out, and I was at home uninvited taking care of a baby. This was my life now, and although it has been very rewarding I had to find a way to stop looking at the life I used to have and start embracing the life I know have. Here are a few ways that I have managed to do that, and after these results, I have been feeling a lot more satisfied with my life.
Find new friends who have a similar lifestyle. For example all of the friends that I had didn’t have any kids, so I decided to make new friends who did, and I didn’t drop my old friends, however, I found myself not comparing my life to theirs when I made a few new friends who could relate to what I was going through.
Be careful with social media! Before I realized it I was crying over people I didn’t even know who seemed to have it all. They traveled all the time, partied, shopped, etc. They were living the life or so it seemed because I was focusing on the wrong things. So I created a new youtube and followed mom YouTubers and limited the number of people I followed who don’t have children.
2. Body Image
I weighed 125 lb. the first month I was pregnant with Ivan, and at the end of my pregnancy, I weighed 170 lbs. Yikes! I also ended up with a few stretch marks around my hips, and waist. It was really hard to build up my self confidence again, because I went up a size in everything. So how did I get through this struggle? I will let you in on three things.
Positive Affirmations- speaking kind words out loud to myself helped me to convince myself that I could still be confident in my new mom body.
I did something about it. – As soon as the six weeks had past I began to slowly workout, and now I am working out three times a week. It just makes you feel better knowing that you are actually doing something to help yourself instead of just sitting on your butt complaining about it, and doing nothing. “Get off that couch girl, and get moving!” – Me to myself.
Eating Better- I have decided that my eating habits have got to change. I need to stop eating less cookies, and ice-cream, and start eating more vegetables and fruit. I have already noticed a difference in the amount of energy that I actually have, and I can tell you know that my body and mind are thanking me for it.
3. Postpartum Depression
This is probably going to be the hardest thing for me to talk about. I don’t like to admit that I have been going through postpartum depression, because I have always been known as someone who is most of the time happy, however this is a serious problem, and each person is different, so I am not the one who needs to tell you what to do. I am just going to suggest a few things, and you should pray about it before deciding on anything.
Prayer- I had to constantly go to God in prayer and ask Him to help me get through this.
I knew I wasn’t alone. – When going through something like this don’t try to go through it alone. I had people that I could go to and talk to that has helped me get through it. Find someone you can trust, and talk to them about it.
Take a Multi-Vitamin for Women- Most of the problems associated with Postpartum have to do with the changing hormones of your body adjusting after you have a baby, and vitamins will help you to balance those out.
Essential Oils- There are many essential oils that have helped me to get through a stressful day. I recommend Young Living. That’s what I use and I love them!
I hope these things have helped someone. I know being a young mother can be really hard, so don’t try to do it alone. Find someone to talk to, and take care of yourself mommy, because the way I see it, we have to take care of ourselves first in order to be able to take care of the people we love. If you feel like you don’t have anyone that you can talk to, please feel free to send me a message on my contact page! I love you all, and hope you all have a blessed day!
Hello, lovelies! Isn’t lovely such a beautiful word? I am taking on a writing challenge and daily challenge with a blogger, and writer that I follow on facebook called, “A Dash of Self Care.” This month I would like to challenge myself and encourage my readers as well to try to balance a healthy lifestyle. I know what you are thinking,” Okay, if I can barely get my hair brushed how am I going to do more than that?” That’s what I thought when I read about the challenge, as a mom with a six-month-old taking care of my own self-seems out of the question, but really it’s not, and it won’t be for you either. So here are a few steps I would like for you to incorporate into your daily self-care routine.
1. Get at least six hours of sleep.
Now I know the recommend ours of sleep is seven to eight hours for adults, but let’s get real that’s probably not going to happen with a baby. So as hard as it is I have taught myself to go to bed at least by ten-thirty. I try to go to bed earlier than that, but sometimes it’s just not possible. Life get’s busy and things happen, but unless it’s the weekend I am in bed by ten-thirty. Lame I know, but sleep is necessary for so many things, and I will go in depth with that another day.
2. Wake up early, and meditate or do your daily devotion.
If you are a non-religious person, then maybe you would like to meditate and focus on three things that you are grateful for, and maybe even write those things down. I enjoy the whole process of making myself a cup of coffee and reading a portion of the Bible or a daily devotional. I also then proceed to write down things that I am grateful for.
3. Incorporate Essential Oils into your everyday life.
I have recently begun using Young Living Essential oils in my everyday life. I cannot tell you how much of a difference they have made in my life. I use them to help me with many different things. For example, when I am blogging I like to make Peppermint tea, and then add a drop of Peppermint Essential Oils, and I find that it helps me to concentrate and clear my mind while writing. Also right before bed, I use a blend of Stress Away, Lavender, and Raven essential oils to help me relax before I go to sleep, and although I am a distributor of the brand I can promise that I am not trying to convince you to purchase something that doesn’t work. It has helped me in a lot of beneficial ways.
4. Spend thirty minutes of your day exercising.
I know you may think that this is impossible. For those of you who have small children and find it hard to have a babysitter, I can promise you there are ways to get around that. Please, don’t let that be your excuse. You will thank yourself later. Just choose five days out of the week that you would like to incorporate exercise into your life, and family. Here are a few ways you can do that. Thirty minutes will fly by faster than you know.
Take an evening walk with your kids
Exercise with your baby, there are plenty of exercise videos you can follow on Youtube
If you find that your baby is impatient, then while they are sleeping just take thirty minutes and find a workout that you really enjoy
Another fun way of doing a workout would be to do it while watching your favorite Netflix show
5. Cheat days are allowed.
I think that having a cheat day is necessary, and perfectionism is a waste of life. Many people don’t know that it is possible to not be overwhelmed, and instead, they go to the excessiveness of living one way or the other. When you find a happy medium that is when you will truly be free. So give yourself a break from that workout. Give yourself a break from that vegetable, and eat that doughnut with extra sprinkled with lots of love and happiness.
I hope all of you have enjoyed these tips, and will maybe try one of them out. If you do, please let me know which one you tried, and how it worked out for you! Also If you would like to let me in on your own healthy routines or habits that you have to feel free to email me and tell me all about it! Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog and newsletter! I will be sending out a new newsletter this weekend on more health tips and exercises, so you won’t want to miss out!
We all have obstacles that we face in our life, but what we have to realize is that is exactly what it is an obstacle. I try to remember the quote, “This too shall pass,” because it is so true, no matter what changes you are going through in your life eventually we will adapt to them. Just think about it for a moment. What is one thing in your life that has upset you and lasted for longer than five years? There are going to be a few traumatic moments in our lives, but we can either let those moments drag us down, or we can choose for it to be an opportunity to grow stronger as a person. I am going to share a few things that are going on in my life that have been hard, and how I am overcoming them. I hope that you can find!
1. Religious Differences
I know that for some of you when you read this you automatically thought, “Puke,” and zoned out. I know that this can be a controversial topic, and that is why I specifically choose it. So if you are that person, then I encourage you to skip this part. However, I know that some of you who are reading this are thinking, “Omg yes, this is something I am struggling with too!” I apologize for the omg part. I am kind of a dork. Lately, I have been dealing with a lot of confrontation with family members who don’t agree with my lifestyle of faith, and some of these people I never would expect the reaction that I have been getting from them, and I am not going to mention any names for their privacy sake, and also because I am not sharing this with you to gossip or talk bad about anyone. I am only expressing this to you because I just want all of you to know that it has not been easy. I feel like I cannot be myself and express myself the way I used to be able to around my family, because it makes them so annoyed and angry when I talk about my faith, and for me that has never happened before, and it is a natural part of my life, so I find it hard not to talk about it, but out of respect for them I have chosen not to force my beliefs on them. If God gave me a choice of whether or not I wanted Him in my life, then as much as it hurts me I have chosen to do the same for them.
2. Mommy Blues
I am currently struggling with postpartum depression, and it has been a constant roller coaster. I feel like I am stuck going through the motions. It goes something like this in the morning Ivan wakes up I feed him, change his diaper, and play with them. He then proceeds to puke on me, and then poop, and then cries until he falls asleep, and the cycle continues. In the midst of taking care of him I sometimes forget to take care of myself, therefore leading to thoughts of depression, such as, “My life has no meaning,” “If you can hear me God, can you please help me,” ,” Or can you please send someone to help me, because I can’t do this anymore.” If you have ever had thoughts like these just know that you are not alone.
3. Life Changes
I feel like we all experience change at some point in our lives. So I know that this is something we can all relate to. I am currently preparing my heart for a change that I am about to face. Some of you may know this and some may not. For those who do not know, my husband has enlisted for the Army National Guard, and he will be leaving August 20th, of this year, and I won’t see him again until Christmas. I know some of you may think that the National Guard isn’t as hard as some of the other branches, but you are wrong. Anyone who serves in the military have to go through the hard things in order to become a member of the Military, and needless to say of the time that they have to spend away from their families. Stephen and I have not been a day apart from each other for almost two years now, so being away from him for six months is going to be a huge change for the both of us, so I am just praying that we come out stronger than we were before, and Lord willing we will.
So how am I getting through all of these things?
I promise this is going to be quick and sweet.
1. Pray, Pray, Pray
I realize what I am up against, and I cannot face these things alone, however I know someone who can. Philippians 4:13
It takes time to heal all things. Just remember the quote, “This too shall pass,” because it will.
I cannot stress enough the importance of having positive people surrounding you.
4. Self Care
Don’t forget to take care of yo self girl. Sorry that was cheesy, but seriously find something that you enjoy doing and get lost in it.
5. Let It Go
When all else fails, and it’s something that is beyond your control, “Let go and Let God.”
I promise that’s all I have for you, and I hope you read this and you are encouraged. We are in this together. If you have any questions, or need any prayers, please don’t hesitate to email me! I would love to be there for you.
